RV technicians from across the United States will receive expert training in diagnosing and solving RV steering, handling and suspension problems.
Grants Pass, OR, August 6, 2012: Henderson’s Line-Up, a family-owned business for over 50 years which specializes in RV steering and suspension, will be hosting the Motorhome Steering and Suspension Institute on Thursday, October 25th and Friday, October 26th, 2012. All RV technicians, service writers and company owners are invited to attend this two day training. Attendees will drive a Class-A motorhome and will learn how to conduct the Road Performance Assessment, as well as gain valuable product knowledge and installation techniques from manufacturers.
“The most valuable part of the training, I feel, is the drive test,” says Henderson’s Line-Up shop foreman and technician Eric Beck. “It’s good for any tech to learn the drive portion of the Road Performance Assessment, as he will know what to look for and what to feel for while driving an RV. You have to drive a coach to figure out what’s going on with a coach’s steering and suspension, to then know what problems need to be addressed.”
Manufacturers will be present to discuss solutions to the various needs that coach owner’s experience with the steering, handling and suspension of their motorhome. Installation tips and product insight is another highlight of this 2 day training. Wayne Wells of Roadmaster, Inc. commented, “I think it’s great for anyone who sells suspension related products to attend this training, because it’s going to give them the tools to be able to sell and install the products efficiently.”
“Learning the RPA will help technicians expose steering, handling, and suspension issues to their customers,” says Robert Henderson, owner of Henderson’s Line-Up and SuperSteer products. “Our goal is to make it as easy and profitable for RV repair facilities to solve their customer’s steering, suspension and handling problems. We strive to help our dealers better serve their customers and are excited to have a new building ready for MSSi, which offers an even better classroom environment.
The two day training includes lunch, the use of a Class A motorhome for training, manuals and training materials. The cost is $550 and several discounts are available. An “early-bird” discount continues through September 1, 2012. For more information, please call us or email [email protected].
