The name GMC Trucks first appeared in 1912 at a New York Auto Show and was patented within the year. The 1920’s focused on making the truck look nicer. The 1930’s focused on streamlining and nicer interiors to feel more like a car.

GMC continued making progress, selling over 600,000 trucks during World War II, evolving into a stylish truck that became a popular hot rod. Over the decades that followed, heavy duty became a priority along with more sleekness and big style.

Frame hydroforming came along in the late ‘90’s which meant the trucks were built on a sturdier, lighter, yet more rigid platform. Rear-hinged three-door extended cab models were also a creative and popular option for contractors and families alike. We know you love your GMC and we love working on them.
