Fifteen miles & 50 points that lead to “better than new” performance of your motorhome

In the Henderson’s Line-Up RPA® (Road Performance Assessment) analysis, you pinpoint the good, the bad, & the ugly — everything that’s right — plus the problems and safety hazards in your Motorhome.

RPAlogo2inlftlipBecause each Motorhome has a different wheelbase, overhang and unique load distribution, Henderson’s treats each vehicle individ-
ually.

To insure you really do improve coach performance, we perform the registered diagnostic RPA® on your vehicle. You get a three-phase analysis of: Discovery, Diagnosis & Delivery covering every point that can affect the performance of your Coach. I’ll explain how & why in a moment –

1. Identify problems in an extensive 15-mile road test. In this $150 assessment, you and your ASE-Certified technician run your rig through a specially selected course that incorporate the road hazards you’ll run into.

clementstestimThey check for the 17 common problems of RV rigs, plus harsh ride, improper weight load, ride height and weak springs. They examine both your wheel assemblies and tires for proper pressure and excessive wear.

2. Under the chassis, Henderson’s inspects 50-plus points, which include such items as defective or worn tie rods, king pins, ball joints, control arm shafts, bushings, hitches, springs, idler & pitman arms, & shock absorbers. Every part that directly affects your vehicle’s performance.

3. You receive a complete written diagnosis of your coach’s problems.

4. You get the exact solutions to fix them.

Why perform such an exhaustive analysis? Through the years, from the beginning servicing motorhomes in 1989, Henderson’s learned a key principle — “You must treat the suspension as a system.” So, we do.

How Henderson’s performs your RPA® (Road Performance Assessment):

See The RPA® Steps In Pictures Here

  • The Technician fills out a question and answer Pre-Inspection Form with you. Most importantly, he listens to you because you know your vehicle and have valuable insights and information to share.

  • Then, your Technician drives your rig, duplicates all possible problem symptoms on the comprehensive 15-mile road test, and evaluates the performance. This road test includes highway driving, curvy roads, ruts, uneven pavement, sharp turns. You see & feel the problem fixes needed to bring your vehicle up to par.

  • Since balance, especially on a heavy vehicle is very important, the Technician weighs all four corners of your vehicle, front and back, to check for imbalance.

  • He invites you to view with him as he inspects more than 50 different points beneath your rig.

  • You receive a complete RPA® Assessment on paper and an ex-
planation of the problems and solutions needed to correct them.

  • After the Assessment, it’s entirely your decision about what work to do. You are never pressured into buying something you don’t want.

  • Following your instructions, the Technician completes adjust-
ments, repairs, steering, suspension installations, minor service & wheel alignment if needed.

  • Then, you & the Technician re-drive the same 15-mile test route so you can see how the work improves your vehicle.

  • If your vehicle needs further adjustment, he corrects it on the spot.

  • Finally, you personally drive your own vehicle over the route to verify your work is done right. Nothing is more convincing of quality work than for you to see, feel and hear “better-than-new” performance over the same bumps, curves, and ruts.

What The RPA (Road Performance Assessment) Did For One Couple

“My coach…didn’t want to stay on the road. Squishy, rocky feeling like a boat. Henderson’s took us for an [RPA]. Showed me what was wrong. I really appreciated we could spend as much or as little as we wanted….[Then, I took a trip] from Oregon to Missouri. It drove like a Cadillac. I left an open soda sitting on the dining table. 150 miles down the road…the soda hadn’t moved. That’s how stable this coach is now.” Rich & Lynn Clements, Selma, OR

You experience something amazing following the RPA®. When the proper adjustments & repairs are made, the frustrating malfunctions that drive you crazy . . . just disappear.
