SuperSteer® Idler Arm Support Assembly – SS175

Beat factory specs for tighter steering, easy turning, less steering play & more steering control — even off-road
SuperSteer® Idler
Arm Support Assem-
bly - SS175
Steering linkage and its components have
to cope with excessive pressures from hard
driving & heavy use such as construction
and off-road travel.
SuperSteer® built the SS175 because truck
& 4×4 owners found factory bushings wear
excessively, loosen linkages & you have to
replace them within as little as 10,000 thou-
sand miles.
That loose linkage can cause excessive steering play and reduces control. Steering can bind up and get hard to turn stemming from increased pressure & wear on bushings.
SuperSteer® handles the pressures
This new “beefed up” Idler Arm Support Assembly is designed to withstand the harsh wear and tear of off-road and heavy-duty use.
The SS175 unit applies the same roller bearing technology our com-
pany is known for on “P” series and Freightliner chassis idler support assemblies, better known as bell cranks. It means pickups, 4×4’s & light trucks can now maintain “better-than-new” steering.

With the SS175’s heavy-duty construction, your installation lasts longer, wears less and costs much less in downtime & tire & parts replacement.
Lifetime Warranty

SuperSteer® offers a Lifetime Warranty on this system. If there are defects, we replace it for as long as you own your vehicle.
4×4’s that employ extreme
modified lift kits
Special Note For Lift Kit/Big Tire Enthusiasts & Truck Hard Users If you run a truck hard or have a lift kit & big tires, we suggest you also compare this SS-175 with our new SuperSteer® 4×4 Idler Kit to see which one best fits your situation.
Chevy/GMC steering systems have had a problem for years with excessive wear on pitman & idler arms. Factory OEM units don’t provide the support they need.
That means when you demand really heavy use from them or add lift kits and big tires, fast wear can result in constant replacement of parts that reside around the SuperSteer® Idler Arm.
Be sure to compare both — this SS175 and the new Supersteer® 4×4 Idler Kit here.
The SS175 Idler Arm Support Assembly fits these vehicles: 99 & up 4X4s, Hummer H2, Suburbans, Yukons, 3/4 & 1-ton 2-wheel drive pickups, Chevy & GMC G3500 Classs C motorhomes & some full size vans.
