embly with a new Idler & Pitman Brace Kit by Cognito Motorsports. The Brace Kit addresses the second problem of excessive wear you often find with tricked-out 4×4’s or even two-wheel-drive trucks operating in adverse conditions.

Pitman and idler arm wear has plagued Chevrolet/GMC 4×4’s for years. If you’re just puttering around town, fine. But, if you tool around off-road or subject a vehicle to heavy stress, the failure factor can disappoint you.

If you run a lift kit & big tires, the larger the tires on your vehicle, the faster the parts wear out . . . and other aftermarket fixes have failed to correct it.

Included in your order will be an SS125 gusset needed to keep the SS175 Idler Arm Assembly from sliding back & forth & bending the ears of the bracket that holds it.
