Koni Shock Absorbers

Koni Shock Absorbers

Comfort, stability, steering &
braking control with top-of-
the-line shocks

KonishockphotoKoni Shock Absorbers give you comfort, stability, steering and braking control under all conditions. Designed specifically for suspension characteristics of heavy-duty trucks, they dramatically improve your vehicle’s ride.

Their precisely balanced damping forces ensure comfort and road holding under all conditions.

Koni’s perform better and wear longer because of their precision manufacturing, highest qua-
lity materials, special design engineering, and intensive testing program.

After many thousands of miles, when other shocks would be completely worn out, these shocks finally start to show wear.

Perform Like New Again With
Simple Adjustment

You restore damping forces on the Koni by simply adjusting them. Each Koni Heavy Duty shock features in excess of 100% reserve damping forces.

Koni truck shocks can be adjusted up to 5 times to perform like new again.

Koni’s have adjustable rebound built in. Their leaf spring suspension features two leaves that actually rub against each other to create friction, which keeps it from bouncing. With the air bags, it’s just like a basketball. When you compress it, it bounces back.

Koni uses the finest materials available, machined to aircraft tolerances. They dynamometer test every shock, to assure 100% quality control. You get a lifetime guarantee with each shock absorber.

These shocks cost a little more than other brands initially but they have proven less expensive over the long haul.

Heavy-Duty Features

Koni shocks boast features you won’t find in other brands.

  • Their special viton seals are critical for long life. They machine the piston rod guide from solid stock. Precise orifices in the piston rod regulate oil flow. Piston rods are precision ground from hardened solid steel for the greatest strength possible, then hard-chromed for durability.

  • The inner cylinder is thick walled, precision drawn seamless steel. The piston valve is made of hardened steel for longer life. The bypass valve regulates oil distribution and guarantees optimum damping. The adjusting nut controls reserve damping forces. The foot valve is made of more than 10 precision parts, valves, and springs to regulate accurate oil flow during compression.
