How to protect your equipment with the best lubricants and monitoring equipment

1. Oils & filters.

• Automatic transmission oil. For auto-
  matic transmissions, Henderson’s features Amsoil ATF synthetic transmission fluid. Amsoil lowers transmission heat and gives you excellent performance with less chance fluid will foam.

  Excessive heat is the main problem with transmissions. Amsoil reduces operating temperatures, resists pressure and water to make your transmission work better and last longer.

• Transmission coolers. To keep your transmission from overheating, Henderson’s uses transmission coolers. We also install transmission filters.

• Rear-end oil. We use Amsoil 80-90 weight synthetic rear-end oil, which saves you money in the long run. This brand handles heat better, has better viscosity ratings and you change oil less often.

• Filters. We install special filters in your engine including bypass filters that keep your motor oil cleaner.

2. Gauges.

See problems at a glance. Gauges are a great tool for heavy vehicles because they let you know at a glance when equipment is overheating and you need to back off a little.

• Transmission gauges. Monitor the condition of your trans- mission at all times. You know immediately if your transmission is overheating & you need to back off a little.

  Gauges are especially important with exhaust brakes. On down hill runs, a tremendous amount of sheering force builds up inside the transmission torque converter. Gauges help you monitor and control those temperatures and protect your expensive transmission.

• Pyrometers. You can track your diesel exhaust’s temperature with a pyrometer. For instance, if you’re driving up a steep hill, you can make sure your engine doesn’t generate too much heat, which can damage the turbo charger.

• Other gauges. Henderson’s Line-Up also installs special gauges to monitor turbo boost.
